Sorry, I think Laura was mistaken... we don't currently support any wireless speakers, though there is apparently a GStreamer plugin for outputting to an Airport Express. It's possible for an add-on developer to bundle this into an add-on and do some work to support it inside Songbird - but that's not something that's happened yet. :(
(For what it's worth, this is a frequently requested feature... we just don't have the resources or time to pursue it ourselves at the moment)

Inappropriate?Hi Laura, there's a few other people wondering how to get the remote speakers working with Songbird, could you please post directions (or a link to them anyway) in this thread so it can be referenced by others in the future?

Inappropriate?Hey all- So it was actually pointed out to me that wireless playback through Songbird is not available. I think I glanced at this bug: http://bugzilla.songbirdnest.com/show... and saw it marked as "Works for me" and confused it with this topic. In any case it really wasn't cool of me to think I knew what I was talking about and not bother to explain how which would have helped me realize I was wrong anyway.

Oh, ok - I thought I had lost my mind, I couldn't find the feature anywhere. o_O. Looking forward to seeing how this project develops (and the next release, of course), I would love to ditch iTunes for Songbird for good! -

To track the comments on this work item:
1. Go to the "people" box in the upper right hand corner of bug # 14829;
2. Add your email in the "add cc" box;
3. Scroll down and hit commit.
