Reset skip count?
Would it be possible for Songbird to have the ability to reset the skip count of song, the way that iTunes does? Maybe it could show up when you edit the metadata of a song.
The reason I ask is that Songbird has been skipping a lot of my songs lately (see http://getsatisfaction.com/songbird/t...). If I can't avoid the inadvertent skipping, I'd at least like to keep the skip counts accurate, since I use them to help me rate songs in batches and to make custom playlists - ie, songs that I've listened to many times and never skipped (songs I really like and should rate highly if they aren't rated yet) or ones that have been skipped many times (songs that I should give low ratings or just delete).
If there is already a way to reset (or manually edit) the skip count in Songbird - either built in or with an add-on - please let me know, but I couldn't find it.

Inappropriate?Hi kane2742,
Sorry to say that it is not possible to do that currently... But thats a great idea that I couldn't find logged in Bugzilla yet. Feel free to log it here to tell the developers what you want mano-a-mano.
I would suggest calling it 'Reset Skip Count / Play Count'... as those go hand in hand...
It, by all means, should be possible to do so.
As you can see if you go to about:config and type in songbird.trackeditor.enableAdvancedTab and set that to 'true'... you will now see an Advanced tab in the Metadata editor. Which you can view the Skip/play count data.. (but you can not edit it currently) :(
I’m confident

Inappropriate?I submitted this suggestion to Bugzilla: http://bugzilla.songbirdnest.com/show...
By the way, I changed the about:config setting, but still don't see an advanced tab or skip/play count data in the metadata editor. I guess it doesn't really matter right now, though - I can still see them in their columns in the library and can't reset/edit them either way. -
Inappropriate?Just noticed that the above link to Bugzilla does not work because I put a period after it. Here's the (I hope) working link: http://bugzilla.songbirdnest.com/show...
