Searching while playing causes freeze until end of track
Running songbird under OSX. When I am playing something and want to search for another artist/song/album it freezes with the beachball of doom but still plays the current track. If I wait until the end of that track the search is completed and everything returns to normal.
When in the beachball state it runs at near on 100% CPU.
I have 4,800 items in my library.
Help!

Inappropriate?Under 'Options / Advanced' there is a tick box:
"Search for text when I start typing"
It seems to ignore this choice, and search for a text as soon as I start typing, no matter if the box is ticked or not. This causes the app to freeze!
I rather search for 'danger' and click 'search', than doing it letter by letter. By the time I typed 'dan', Songbird is already frozen.
How can I disable the 'search for text when I start typing' box?
