Second-hand feather edits?
Hello, I have been a user of Songbird for a little while and I love it! but I can never seem to find a feather/skin that fully suits me (and my OCD). I was wondering if I could take elements from two different feathers and combine them. The problem being, I don't know how to get a hold of the creators of the feathers in the first place. I'd rather not just post a feather and call it my own when it isn't, can anyone give some advice?

Inappropriate? All the feathers are posted on Songbird add-ons site under "Appearance":
http://addons.songbirdnest.com/addons...
Clicking on linked name redirects you to add-on summary page where you can post your question directly to the feather author.
IMO, it sounds reasonable to use other feathers elements to create your own feather(since we're in open source environment), but it still would be a good idea to check with the feathers authors first.
