Shoutcast Favorite Stations won't play or remove
I just updated to Songbird 1.0 through Help > Check for Updates. After the installation, I noticed that none of my Favorite Stations were working, and they could not be removed from the list. I went to the Shoutcast menu and found a station again and it worked, so I re-favorited it. When I went back to it in my Favorite Stations list, even the new one would not play, and it wouldn't let me remove that one either. How can I clear the list and get the Favorite Stations working again?

Inappropriate?I am not sure if you had the same problem as I, but I was also unable to play songs that were showing up on the shoutcast search screen, as well as what you mentioned.
The way I got Shoutcast working was pretty easy, go into add remove programs, uninstall songbird, go to program files, delete the songbird folder, and then reinstall songbird 1.0
I didn't lose any settings or even the last page I had open, so I think it is worth giving a try. Thats my .02 on this.
I’m blaaarrrgh!

i tried that and it just goes back to favorite stations with all the same old stations when i reinstall songbird. It also said song bird is not responding when i try to go in shout cast -
Inappropriate?i have 33 favorite stations in that playlist, and recently now when i double click on a station to play any no play i either get the loading indicator or just the little shoutcast lightning bolt
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04LTS and Songbird is 1.1.1, Build 1018 (20090309145106).
I’m need my radio stations!!

.... it is also happens under Songbird 1.1.2, Build 1042 (20090331141709) too. (I updated to see if that would fix it. nope) -
Inappropriate?Hi,
Similar problem:
I have a radio station that I cannot delete. Using 1.1.2 version on vista.
used shoutcast to get a local stream and it now opens automatically in WMP as soon as I open songbird. This is actually making me turn to itunes (boo) cos I cant fix it - please help!!
I have tried to delete it but options are greyed out- I uninstalled shoutcast but the station is still there as a favourite.
Would love to know how to remove the station entirely, or better yet just stop it from running at songbird start up -so annoying cos the stream has to keep rebuffering- not a songbird issue- but it means i cant listen to it yet at the same time i have to :(
I am aware there is a similar report of this issue but as yet no result or comments for a while. Thus the bump.
Thanks muchly
I’m frustrated
