Skips to next track when saving lyrics

I have an issue with my songs being skipped for some "media core" reason. I'd state the exact reason, but unfortunately I checked the box to hide all future instances of... something to do with media core. I searched in options to reset this preference, to no avail. So, I'll do my best to describe what's going on.

I recently added the lyrics side-pane, clicking YES when being prompted to "Save These Lyrics?". Every few songs, I would get a prompt to the effect of Media Core error: Continue or Stop playing. It was getting extremely annoying so I checked the box I mentioned in the first paragraph. So, now, after clicking YES to save lyrics, about half the time it saves them and proceeds to skip to the next track.
