skips to next track with a few seconds to go on mp3 files
mp3 files play, but Songbird skips to the next track a few seconds before they finish (other formats play fine). These errors appear in the error console whenever an mp3 track is started:

Inappropriate?Better to give more information about your OS, which Songbird version are you using. Where did you get the build? Songbird shipped version, or contributed version? Is it only for certain specific mp3 file or a common problem for your environment? The above information will be helpful for further investigation.

Pertains to all mp3 files (>2000 of them), but not to files of other formats, and not when using different software.

Inappropriate?Any chance to give the Songbird branch 1.4 a try: http://developer.songbirdnest.com/bui...? I would expect that there are some update/improvement for the gstreamer part since 1.2. Not sure to run Songbird in safe mode or a new profile would help. It might deserve a try.
Other than that, not quite familiar with the gstreamer part and I'll leave the question for other guys who can dig further. -
Inappropriate?Songbird 1.4.0, build 1430 exhibited the same problem.
Further, some songs were skipped completely, and the first error above was displayed. However, they played if I double-clicked on them, apart from the last few seconds being skipped.
I installed WMTools, as recommended in this thread, and the problem seems to be resolved. The UI still skips to the next song before the current song is finished, but stays at 0:00 until the current song finishes. No songs are skipped either.
