Inappropriate? This one's a winner. Intelligent shuffling kicks ass. I'm assuming that the Genome algorithm would help with shuffling of our libraries, as well as providing recommendations.
Viva la revolucion
I’m excited

Inappropriate?great idea, the music genome project and the idea to integrate it in songbird. if i just could find any resources to do that.
Do someone has resources about this, some papers, ide descriptions, libs, etc?

Inappropriate? Is this implemented already? I can't figure out how to use this feature.

Inappropriate?Music Genome Project is patented. I guess it can't just be used in opensource songbird:
------- snip ------------
"Music Genome Project" is a registered trademark in the United States. The mark is owned by Pandora Media, Inc.
An implementation of the Music Genome Project seems to be covered by United States Patent No. 7,003,515.[1] This patent shows William T. Glaser, Timothy B. Westergren, Jeffrey P. Stearns, and Jonathan M. Kraft as the inventors of this technology. This patent is also owned by Pandora Media, Inc..
-------- snap ----------
Is there a open source project or something, that can be used?
Cheers, Rob.
