Songbird 1.0 Not Recognizing WMP made Metadata/not scrobbling and no album art imports
Not just a new problem with 1.0, but whenever I import songs it's the file name, similar to the other problem already filed. But even after I manually import the data (which takes forever!) the tracks I edit don't scrobble. Keep in mind these are Mp3's, I just ripped them in WMP because it was quicker then itunes and other players. These are all mp3 files with the Metadata created in WMP. It's really starting to get on my nerves. Songs don't get updated when I play them for 5 or so seconds either. Once this issue is fixed songbird will easily be the best player out there. Also a more minor problem, none of my album art was imported from an media player I've used.

Inappropriate? That should work fine! I guess there's something unusual about these files - do you think you could send us one of them so we can investigate the problem?
-
Inappropriate?Sure, what email address should I send it too?

Inappropriate? You can send it to me at msmith@songbirdnest.com

Inappropriate? So, the file you sent me imports completely fine in songbird 1.0 for me - and it's a very normal-looking mp3 file, with normal tags. Are you sure this file doesn't import correctly? (try removing it from your library, then re-importing it)

Inappropriate? After re-importing the files fixes the problem. I think it's worth mentioning I had an earlier version, and re-imported several times using the pre-1.0 version and ruled out the option from helping because it didn't help then. So if anyone else has this problem just try re-importing your library, or the songs. Thanks a lot for your help!
