Songbird 1.0rc1 "isn't supported on this architecture"
I'm running the latest version of Leopard on my MacBook Pro. After dragging Songbird into my applications folder, it showed up as the generic application icon (not the songbird icon) and when I tried to open it, it said that I couldn't because it wasn't "supported on this architecture."
BUT:
If i double click on the Songbird icon in the dmg, Songbird opens! What's going on? also, if I try to play a song through the "dmg version" of Songbird, it says that the file is encrypted and Songbird doesn't support decryption, or something like that.
Did Songbird rely previously on add-ons or plugins to decrypt songs? Or is that complete nonsense and songs don't need decryption and there's something seriously messed up?

Inappropriate?Unfortunately, it sounds like there was a problem when you copied the application over to your HD. Can you try deleting the application and copying it over again and let us know what happens? Thanks!
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate? That gives me an idea. I'm on an account with Parental Controls enabled. They mess up everything else on my account, (for instance, the itunes store doesn't work, and I can't automatically check for updates for songbird add-ons) So they probably messed this up to. I'll try copying Songbird over again on one of my parent's accounts later.
thanks for your support.
I’m hopeful.

Inappropriate?Ok,
copying Songbird over from an account that doesn't have Parental Controls enabled works quickly and smoothly. thanks for the advice.
BUT:
Now that I can open Songbird normally on my account, Whenever I try to play a song that has the .m4p extension, I get this message:

I didn't have this problem in 0.6.1, so I'm not sure what's going on. I must be missing an add-on or something.
I’m feeling a bit better
