Inappropriate?but i can't download music on songbird????? wat the hellll man!!!!!!!!!!
I’m !@#$ angry man
-
Of course you can -
Inappropriate?both the stable and nightly versions of songbird have still the bug (tested on windows xp sp3 and windows vista sp1) that crashes songbird on startup saying "Delete library and restart" over and over.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?I'm glad that you guys released the update, however its performance has deteriorated so far that it is almost unusable. I am not sure happened after 1.0 was released. 1.0 was just about perfect in regards to searching and playing content quickly. Now, it takes about 15 seconds to start and about 15 to close. Searching through the library can take minutes if the search term is longer than 3 characters. Hope it is resolved soon.

Inappropriate?hi! just wanted to tell that when you released songbird 1.2b1 the bug i reported saying "delete library and restart" over and over in windows, was corrected, but came back in beta 2. songbird is unusable again :(
I’m sad
-
Boo. That makes me sad, too. Checking it out now... -
I think you have something special going on -- I'm able to successfully delete and restart after corrupting my library. Try something out for me:
1. Navigate to your Profiles directory (see http://wiki.songbirdnest.com/User:Luk... for help).
2. Go into the db directory.
3. Enable the Date Modified column.
4. Start Songbird.
5. Click the Delete Library and Restart button.
Do all of the files in the db directory update with a new Date Modified value to the current time? -
the problem is that error happens even on a fresh install. if i remove my profile it happens anyway. but i'll try that and get back to you. -
Inappropriate?sorry for the delay. i tried what you said and the date and time modified changes. it happens everytime on windows xp sp2/3, vista and windows 7 rc1 and wine on linux (i currently have installed win xp pro sp3 english. and ubuntu 9.04. the linux version works fine but the windows version crashes everytime with a "corrupt library" looping error
I’m confused
