Songbird 1.2.0 on Fedora 11 does not see ipod when inserted
After upgrading to Fedora 11 and Songbird 1.2.0 (from contributed RPMs) I realized that Songbird no longer recognizes iPod inserted while Songbird is already running (funnily, after the ipod is inserted Nautilus automatically opens a window with ipod contents but Songbird does not notice a thing). If I restart Songbird it is seeing the iPod just fine. On a related note, Songbird won't let me eject the ipod (right-clicking on the ipod on the Desktop and selecting eject works fine).

Inappropriate? This did the trick for me.... tried everything else under the sun! My iPod folder showed up under /dev/sdc3

Inappropriate? It will actually eventually sometimes recognize the ipod but then it takes forever to load it. Turns out songbird is looping in EAGAIN read() with errno set to Resource temporarily unavailable. This is also happening with Songbird nightly build (1.4.0b3).
I’m frustrated
