songbird 1.2 crashes when looking at webpages
songbird 1.2 build 1146 for linux x86_64 crashes when loading some websites. It has crashed when loading the page for the directory browser addon and when mashtape is loaded. It also crashes when browsing to youtube. the error console is showing what looks like problems with css. I'm running songbird on Fedora 11 x86_64.

Inappropriate?Firstly, the first aid document might be the place you can get some help: http://wiki.songbirdnest.com/Getting_....
Here are several things that you might want to check:
1. Get the latest Songbird 1.4.0 build and try again (http://developer.songbirdnest.com/bui...). The problem might be fixed there.
2. Run in safe mode or create a new profile.
3. Could there any chance that flash plugin could be the cause?
4. Did you get a crash reporter dialog so that you can send the crash report? This is helpful and can provide some useful information to the engineers. You can type in "about:crashes" in Songbird to check the crash report history. If yes, you can paste the crash ID here for reference. -
Inappropriate?I found the problem, it's the flash plugin. since i'm running a 64bit linux, firefox is looking for a 64bit flash plugin. the plugin works in firedox but not in songbird. what happens when i load a site that would cause the crash is a segment fault. the plugin that I'm using is Adobe's flash 10 pre-release for 64bit linux. version 1.4.0-1340 gave me the same results with the 64bit version of flash 10.
thanks for the help figuring out the cause.
