Songbird + Apple media files without Quicktime Player?

Serious problem: I use Songbird in a lab where the PCs are running DeepFreeze, and I can't install iTunes/QuickTime on the computers or my portable hard drive (you know, how some program info/DLLs stay on the original computer and then the program won't work on a portable drive), so I can't play Apple's multimedia formats. It's not terribly urgent to me, but some patch (?) to mesh iTunes/QuickTime and Songbird for portability would be good.
