Songbird does not remember scroll position in Library when switching between windows.
When you are scrolling through your Library, like I like to do :P if I switch to my Play Queue or maybe the Downloads window (basically anything that does not open in a new tab) it will go back to the top of my Library list.
Really, it should remember where I was. If I add a song to my Play Queue and I want to play it I have to switch over to the Queue window to start it but then when I come back I have to go find where I was at.
Also, furthering that idea, Firefox now remembers your last session, does Songbird? IE: Does my Play Queue stay the same? No :(
Thanks guys, keep up the awesome work!

Inappropriate? This is a known issue. I believe it is on our list of many bugs for the next release.

Inappropriate? This is _really_ annoying! Songbird should remember what you were looking at in the Library view and in each of your playlists. Foobar and (IIRC) iTunes do this. In Firefox, your view doesn't get moved back to the top of the page every time you switch tabs! Do you have a link for the relevant bug, ashughes?
I’m sad to be stuck with foobar until this is fixed.
-
Inappropriate?I think this is the #1 usability feature that need to be fixed. The library position is even lost when switching between mini and main player
I’m sad

Inappropriate?YEAH! I vote with these guys, this is a MUST have!!
-
Inappropriate?Agreed. This is the most important issue regarding Songbird. Fix this, and I will switch, even without gapless playback.
-
Inappropriate?Agreed, this is a major issue with a seemingly simple solution. Any fix would be appreciated.

Inappropriate?Because of this problem and a couple others, I switched back to foobar, and I'm pretty satisfied with it now. I doubt I'll try Songbird again, but if this issue were to get fixed some day... I might.
-
Inappropriate?Wholeheartedly agree, really need this feature. Is there a feature list thread somewhere?
-
Inappropriate?this is truly annoying
especially since searching the library each time is a costly procedure and slow if you have a library with couple of thousand items.
songbird should at least focus on the song played now or last played.
this is definitely the number one usability issue for me.
I’m fraustrated although still in love with Songbird

Inappropriate?Totally agree, and I'm sad because I don't see nothing about it in the roadmap
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Sadly, I went back to iTunes because of this missing feature.
I can't express how nice of a program songbird is, and the developers do such a great job so I must pledge I'm honored, but this feature is a backbone, it's these small mandatory components that are really killing its productivity, Little things that matter.
I still enjoy iTunes so I'm not missing out too bad.
It's been a year now, songbird Dev Team, please with all due respect implement this feature before you continue to add additional auxiliaries and peripheral (features).
Thanks
I’m sad
