Songbird does not sync whole library with a MTP?
When I try to sync my library, (around 750 songs) with my Creative Zen 16GB, it'll sync only a certain amount of the library, (around 150 songs). This did not happen when I synced it with WMP11, and since my whole library is mp3, then there should be no problem there too. I had Songbird originally installed in Janurary, and the same problem happened around then, but I simply stopped using Songbird, but is there a fix for this? Cheers :-)

Inappropriate?Same problem here with my Sony NWZ-E438F on Win XP SP3, Songbird 1.1.1
My library is 1364 track long but only 807 are sent. It is also impossible to add missing tracks manually. The device is far from being full (almost half of the capacity). But it could be full if every songs were sent (maybe it is a problem with that?).
I do not have any problem to send the songs with WMP11. I am not sure but I think I did not have this problem before (but I had tons of other problems on the other hand)

Inappropriate?I have the same Problem here with a Samsung YP-Z5... it would be great if anyone of the employees could take care of that problem. It is obviously that it startet with 1.1 beta 1.

Inappropriate?Unfortunately since the devices you're referring to are not officially supported at this time any functionality you get is a bonus for now.
That said, improved MTP support is on our radar. Head here for more info on that or to lend a hand.

Inappropriate?Yeah, that is what frustrating. It worked in 1.0 (meaning that all songs where transfered) but there were many other bugs (slow transfer, sync did not work, playlist neither did). So sad T.T

Inappropriate?I have this problem too using a Sansa Fuze.
My entire library won't fit onto the device (the 8GB model), so Songbird is setup to sync it with one of my playlists. Even when I've got this down to only a few hundred tracks (I haven't tried any lower), not all tracks are copied across.
What I don't understand is why some tracks from an album are copied onto the device, but not others. During the synchronisation process, the missing tracks very briefly appear under the progress bar in Songbird, as if they're being 'skipped'.

just installed the latest nightly (Version: Songbird 1.3.0a, Build 1102 (20090523013307)) and the latest addon: 1.0.15pre.1102
still has a problem- synced 57/61 of one playlist, and 86/119 for another. i think this is better than before but i really don't remember -

So sad the problem is not solved yet. But it was quiet obvious as the bug on bugzilla has not been considered.
By the way, I am repeating my question : Does this work for someone with Songbird 1.1+?

nope it doesnt work with any version of song bird, the latest version of the MTP addon is useless. The best way to sync using MTP is exporting the playlists and adding them using windows media player, while unistalling the mtp addon off song bird (it deletes your playlists sometimes). or stop using songbird. or program a new addon yourself. -
The problem is that you can't export playlists with songs with non standard ascii characters. So the workaround doesn't work for me.

Inappropriate?Same problem with my Philips GoGear SA9200. It only syncs about 50 of 269 songs. This is really frustrating! I may have to go back to either WMP or iTunes again.

Inappropriate?Things have gone from bad to worse here. My sansa express isn't syncing at all. I dont see the playsilsts and manual sync doesn't do anything. Im on win7 now.
