songbird doesn't open at all
hello
i've recently installed songbird packaged in a .deb on my ubuntu 9.04 32bit computer. it installs great and shows up in my applications menu, but it doesn't start at all. I click on the icon to start it but nothing happens. I look into my system monitor and it shows songbird and songbird bin as running processes but nothing to suggest that it'll show a gui any time soon. also, when i force quit the app, songbird bin fails to quit.
i had songbird before and it worked fine, it ran and played music and interacted with my ipod, but then i reinstalled ubuntu and it didn't work the same. it used to refuse to detect my ipod and would crash if i asked it to. now it just doesn't even run :(
