Inappropriate?Got any more specifics on how you think it should fit better with GNOME?

Inappropriate?I'm using Gnome on Ubuntu, and it seems to integrate fairly well. One thing I have noticed a bit of lag on image intensive addons, such as mashTape and mediaFlow, but this may not be a GNOME specific issue, I haven't looked into it enough to know. What would be nice from the linux side, not just GNOME, is to have some sort of proper installer (yes, I understand this can be a nightmare for support) for Songbird, not just a tarball. I guess the ultimate GNOME integration would be support for GTK theming, but is this even possible with XULRunner?
I’m undecided

Inappropriate? How about add an icon into the taskbar applet area when iconized to control the player without having to restore the full enchilada...
dat would be superduper!

Inappropriate? It would be nice if Songbird were compatible with GNOME shortcut keys specifications, so it would be compatible with keyboards multimedia keys, for example.

See MMKeys and MMKeys 64bit plugins ;) -
Inappropriate?I think it should look just like all other Gnome applications (i.e. Firefox and how it now handles different OSes)
