Songbird memory hog?
Is something wrong with my Songbird? It's a memory HOG and is constantly freezing with well over 50 cpu usage. What's up? It's also caused my temps to surpass 80 celsius when I'm usually at 55. Only thing I'm doing differently is Songbird..

Inappropriate?What version of songbird and operating system are you using?
Looking through some old posts it seemed like their was a CPU/ Memory problem with Windows Vista and an older version of songbird. So if you are using an older version than 1.2, you should upgrade and see if there are any improvements. -
Inappropriate?I am using Windows 7 Ultimate with whatever the latest version of Songbird is. I've stopped using it and am using WinAmp in the meantime which lays zero burden to my memory
