Songbird miniplayer in taskbar
Well, I was stuck with windows media palyer until I heard about songbird. Finally an open audioplayer with the looks of iTunes and customization options of windows media player/winamp etc. put together. And more!
Now, there is but one thing that is keeping me from really wanting to switch player. I miss the miniplayer in the taskbar wich you could have with windows media player.
Please, is this a feature you could add? If not, is there any interest in developing a plugin like this?
I'd love to help with what I can, but at the moment my abilities to make or code plugins is next to none. I just don't have the knowledge to do it.

Inappropriate?Good idea. This has been something that has long been asked for. However, this functionality would most likely have to be picked up by an avid add-on developer.

with some features from windows media plyaer like screen that i like.

Inappropriate?I made a very simple version for Windows. It only has next track, previous track, and play buttons and is generic to work with any media player. Tested briefly on XP SP3 and Win7 x64 beta. I hope people find it useful, but I hadn't programmed for the win32 api in quite a while so don't expect too much.

Inappropriate?Very nice! I guess I will still stick to MinTrayR until there is a toolboar like this wich can show artist, song and album art etc. You're well on the way though, appreciate it!
