Songbird needs ReplayGain (song volume set in metadata)
Serious audio listening is tedious (if not impossible) without ReplayGain support. It's annoying having to adjust the volume every track; you can not literally "sit back and enjoy the music." Foobar2000 has an excellent ReplayGain implementation that could guide Songbird developers. http://wiki.hydrogenaudio.org/index.p... for more information.

Inappropriate? Thanks James for pointing this out...I'm with you on this.
Songbird wouldn't be a great player without this and a few more features.
Hope it would become one soon. -
Inappropriate?I agree. Songbird would not be complete without it. And, please don't use some proprietary system like iTunes uses. Otherwise, Songbird is well on it's way to being the best player around.
I’m excited

Inappropriate?Hi James,
Sounds like a great idea for an add on. Feel free to log it as a feature request here to tell the developers what you want directly.
-
Inappropriate?yesyesyesyes! I'm surprised it's not there already, I would have thought it was an essential part of a fully functional media player.
I’m unhappily surprised
