Songbird not showing at Apps in Ubuntu
I've installed Songbird on my Ubuntu pc (i'm a new Ubuntu user), but it's not showing up at Applications or Synaptic package manager as being installed. I've manually created a shortcut, but i don't consider this optimal.
How can i fix this (getting Songbird to show up as an installed program in Synaptic, or visible at Applications)?

Inappropriate? If you used a (get)deb package you should check with the maintaner of the package. If you downloaded the .tar.gz this is normal behaviour since Songbird doesn't really install itself. It just runs from the folder you've extracted to.
