Songbird still runing...

I have a problem with Songbird on a netbook with Windows XP Home. When I exit songbird and I want to launch it again a few minutes after, it tells me that songbird is still runing and I should exit before launch it again... But I am already out. When I go in the task manager, I still see songbird runing... I have to kill the task before launching it again. What's the problem? Thanks for your help. Frank
