Songbird set to mute in Vista and Windows 7
Ok, so I am using SongBird for like 1 month now and everything was fine with it, such a great player.. Yesterday, I opened SongBird, pressed the Play button on some song and there's no sound at all. The track is like playing, but no sound. It's the same on all song, so I really need help. (also I uninstalled BS player yesterday, if that means something..)
Does anyone have a solution? Should I reinstall it ? Please help. Thanks.

Inappropriate?G'day,
I'm guessing you are in Vista or Windows 7? Unfortunately, sometimes they set the volume for Songbird to mute. Right click the speaker thing on the right part of the start menu, volume mixer, and check Songbird isn't set to mute (do this whilst songbird is working).
Lemmie know if that helps.
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate? After importing songs from a folder to the music library, there is no sound when trying to play music. Work around: restart songbird
This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
No sound directly after importing music from folder.
