songbird stops responding on song change when playing from an ipod (5g) on mac osx intel
i have a 5th gen ipod that syncs with my pc, and i use songbird to (try to!) play songs on my work mac. itunes, of course, doesn't allow playback, and floola crashes, so songbird is my only option.
intermittently, when the song changes (either manually using the next button or at the end of a song) songbird hangs, and stops responding. occasionally, it will continue to play, but the UI will be frozen.
i haven't been able to determine when this happens - it seems to happen randomly, but when it does happen, it seems to continue happening for a while. CPU consumption is high at startup - from 20% to 90%.
i'm using songbird 1.0.0 build 860 with the iPod addon v 3.0.10.860
