Songbird stripping mp3 tags as far as explorer is concerned
ok i use mp3tagID to fetch album art and album tags then add the mp3's to songbird. but when i edit the tags IN songbird it seems to strip all information from the mp3 as far as explorer is concerned. i shall add a img to show this.
this happens whenever i edit tags in songbird i believe. but if i add the mp3 to other music software i have such as Zune or WMP the tags are still there

Inappropriate? This seems to be due to a lack of ID3v2.4 support in Windows Explorer. If I use a third-party program (e.g. Mp3tag) to save tags as ID3v2.3 they all show up correctly. Songbird can only save tags as ID3v2.4 and it is supported by other modern players.

Inappropriate?Artist, album, song title, embedded album art, genre, number, year, etc blank in windows explorer after updating in songbird. Only thing left untouched is the files name in windows explorer. Very annoying!
