Songbird won't start after installing

I am running an Samsung Laptop with Windows Vista. I downloaded the installation file from your hp getsongbird.com in the version 1.1.2
I had no problems installing it, but when I click on finish and start songbird windows just brings an error report - programm does not work. I tried restarting the system and I removed it and installed it again. Still doesn't work.
I saw there are more ppl w/ the same probs, but no respondes yet. So I decided to post a report to.

I have this problem, too! Tell me when someone solves it.

So just to clarify Songbird has never opened for you (i.e. not even right after you install)?

I tried it again to gain more informations for you. So I looked out for all kinds of responds from my pc. I found one I haven't noticed before:
Songbird wurde durch eine Datenausführungsverhinderung geschlossen
Songbird was closed by a Data Execution Prevention
Perhaps this could help to fix the problem.

And: A few months ago I allready was running songbird, but after a few probs w/ the library I changed back to iTunes. As iTunes now has also probs w/ the library I though as songbird has a new version number I could try that again. I just want a stable solution to listen to my musik and enjoy it.
