specific suggestions for additions to browser.
I'm sure you've dealt with this at some level already, but further integration of firefox and songbird is desirable. mainly my cache history and bookmarks. I know they operate as separate browsers, but since you can import this information from say IE to Firefox, and you can import other information from Itunes to songbird, then I'm sure this can be reconciled in some way. Specifically the favorites bar available in the newest firefox release, along with the awesome bar if it's not part of songbird already.

Inappropriate?Well I agree with the awesomebar part of it, but I don't want history and all that to sync. Firefox locks those files when it's running, and I always use them simultaneously. Music + Browsing is two tasks, not one. Keep it separate. I'm all for the extra features though. One that drives me crazy is when you hover over a link the status bar won't show the target URL. >:|

Inappropriate?Not to be a buzz killington but the whole idea of songbird to to integrate music and browsing bdice. Though I can understand the desirability of not syncing history. My idea regarding bookmarks specifically has to do with switching from firefox to songbird as my primary browser. My machine is old and it tends to get cranky if there are two large programs like Itunes and Firefox running, so you can see the attraction of songbird.
as an addendum, I've seen it voiced one other place, but I want to echo it, folders would be fantastic for bookmarks.

Inappropriate?+1 for integration and compatibility. I use oldbar, myself. I'd love to see Songbird become more powerful as a browser. Personally, I chose Songbird in part because I hoped it t\would prove to be Firefox+Media Player. I remain disappointed with Songbirds capabilities on the web front, although it remains my Media Player of choice due to addons like 'last.fm' 'similar artists' 'shoutcast' and 'lyric master'
