Split right sidebar horizontally (picture)
Split right sidebar horizontally so you can use multiple sidebar extensions. I don't really know what else to say. I just think this would be one of those small but helpful improvements.

Inappropriate?Sorry for the delay!
That looks and sounds pretty good.
Have you had a chance to file this in Bugzilla? -
Inappropriate?I didn't know this is been suggested before. I posted a comment in the playist sidebar thread that if the now playing list gets implemented on the right side, the album art should be in that bar as well because it would make more sense there.

Inappropriate?this will be a real step forward and improvement,
wow. -
Inappropriate?Looking really good. I also use both lyricmaster and music recommandations like in your screenshot.
Now I constantly have to switch between them. -
Inappropriate? How about removing the artificial limit on what can be opened in a side bar?
Right now the menu button only allows you to choose what is displayed, why not switch that to "On/Off" style? On my small little monitor I might not be able to use it, but people using 28" screens or larger could fit a lot more.
The main center piece would be reserved for media views, but for the sides we should be able to tick on as many boxes as we have screen space for.
Kinda like the sidebar in Vista or a Google Gadget.

Well I think it should be off by default, but, other than that, I don't really see a point in limiting it. Maybe I misread your post? -
Um, that's what I was trying to get at. Why only allow one "widget" to be open in the side bar(s)?
I'd like to have my Last.fm friends showing as well as MorningPeeps. -
Oh okay. I think I just really misread. Ignore my first reply to this, it doesn't make any sense now. Haha. -
Inappropriate?I think it would be awesome if the main songbird interface was more customizable - then people could write add-ons for separate windows and you could arrange them how you like. For instance, I'd want:
- Play back controls
- Play list
- Play list organiser window
- EQ applet
- Lyrics
- Discography for current artist (Last.fm / musicbrainz?)
- Last.fm or wikipedia page for current artist
- Official band homepage
And you could have other apps for
- Finding tour dates / tickets
- Searching ebay / EIL / Amazon / 7Digital etc for records in the discography that aren't in your library
- YouTube window etc etc
I suppose this kinda builds on MashTape capabilities with more room for customization.
I’m excited
