The ability to tag vid files as music videos would be nice

Hi i am new here and this is my first post, it is brilliant to be able to suggest new ideas for Songbird ( what a beautiful title ), i am now getting increasingly frustated with apples continued rejection of giving itunes the ability to play avi, mkv files etc, this is where i think songbird could become the media player of choice, if you could give it the ability to play avi,mkv and other popular video files as others have suggested, that would be brilliant, i currently have a lot of music videos in avi format so the ability to tag vid files as music videos ( as you can in itunes ) and also have the ability to shuffle them and make playlists would be something i would love.
