The Exorcist isn't getting rid of the doubles.
I have The Exorcist installed as an add on, yet almost every song I have is doubled. HELP.

Inappropriate?The exorcist doesn't seek out ghosts and duplicates automatically; you have to invoke it. Click on the media view button just to the left of the main search bar, then select "duplicate tracks" from the drop down.

Inappropriate?That's not the problem, Dustin. For some reason Exorcist only gets rid of 10 or 20 duplicate tracks and leaves the rest.

Well, at least it's not your problem. All she said is that she installed it as an add-on. That might have been all she did, for all I know. -

I've noticed that, when I run Exorcist duplicate views, it will find duplicates of the same filetype, but if I have the same song in .m4a and .mp3, it won't recognize them as dupes.

Inappropriate?it does seem to miss a lot of dupes. For example I have the same song with a different bitrate. Doesn't get it :(
What is the search algorithm behind the duplicate finder anyways? -
Inappropriate?it finds all dupes but it'll either freeze or wont delete...no whenever i am starting to see triple the count of same songs, i dont know if its a settings or what, i even spent hours reorganizing my directory, and did a scan of the new directory and it added even more copies

He posted a fix and he notes that all the dev needs to do is change ONE attribute for v1.2 compatibility!
