The guide on first start is getting stuck in a loop
When I start up Songbird 0.7 I just keep getting the EULA and the query for which folder to scan, then I download the recommended addons and then it starts over. If I quit the guide I get into the program and I have a bunch of "Downloaded songs"-playlists.

Inappropriate?Oy, that's not good! It looks like someone else has had the same problem here:

I'm not sure quite what's going on, but if you can provide the steps it takes to reliably recreate the problem, it would really help us to find and fix it.

Inappropriate?I tried downloading the .tar from getsongbird.com (have also tried .deb from getdeb) and ran it. The problem was still there. Tried the solution mentioned in the other thread, deleting the hidden .songbird2 folder in my home directory. The first thing i notice is that this time, the locale gets downloaded (swedish, in my case).
After this, songbird starts without a problem. The guide is no longer looping, and everything seems to be working great so far.
A possible solution might be to implement something in the next version of Songbird that checks for an outdated profile and deletes it.
I’m happy
