The quick search feature which ships with Firefox doesn't do anything in Songbird
Typing "/" in the library pane opens a quick search panel, but the panel doesn't appear to be able to search anything in the library. Therefore my question is either:
1) Could you allow this search box to perform the same search as the main search box?
or
2) Could you re-map the "/" key (standard on many webapps I believe) to the main search box?

Going through our posts we saw that your comment/question fell through the cracks. Doh!
I'm not sure, but it seems that this is a bug, and that the Quick Find search should work the same as the Main Search. So that I can further assist you, could you please let me know:
1) what version of Songbird you are running; and
2) what operating system you are running.

I'm running windows Vista, and Songbird version 0.8.0pre, build 799 (25-10-2008) but I originally noticed the problem in Songbird 0.7 as well.

Inappropriate?I filed a feature request bug for this in songbird's bugzilla because this functionality is so important.
