Unable to play any MP3 file
Just installing SongBird, I'm unable to add any files in library, and unable to play any MP3 files (from File / Open menu, or by droppping them in SongBird directly. Do I need any plug-in or media player like WinAMp ou WMP to play files ? Or Song bird can play files by it own ??? Thanks in advance.

Inappropriate?Hi Kyle,
Sorry for the delay in responding to your post. So that I can assist you, please let me know:
1) what operating system you are using;
2) a step-by-step rundown of how to reproduce this error; and
3) if there are any other distinguishing characteristics of the files that won't play, other than the fact that they are all mp3s.
Thanks. -
Inappropriate?Hello Laura,
I'm in Windows XP Pro (US version) SP2, and I've installed SongBird in french language.
When I launch SongBird, I can't add any files in library (or I do it wrong). I try to drag and drop files directly in the SongBird window, but nothing happen.
The only way to play a file is to use File / Open file (CTRL + O), and Songbird loads Quicktime (in the SongBird window), and I can hear music, but only opening file by file.
Do I still need WinAmp, QuicktIme or Windows Media player ?
Please help me using library (like in WinAmp or WMP).
Thanks in advance.
I’m frustrated
