Use old themes in songbird
if you can't install a theme xpi (ibird) jus open the xpi and read the install.rdf , change the minimal and maximal version value . Save the xpi , install cpi , works like a charm no need to wait for newer version to come out . i think songbird should make it available by default to use themes from other versions

Inappropriate?The problem is that somethemesfeathers work, some not. The program can't decide it. So the developer has to say that it is compatible. You can use the Nightly Tester Tools-Addon to disable checking.

Inappropriate?You're right in that you can do that song-aligator, but like rsjtdrjgfuzkfg said "the program can't decide it. So the developer has to say that it is compatible". I think that what we should do instead is have some sort of method to where skins that still work, but aren't updated anymore, can get authorized by maybe other developers or users for the latest version of Songbird. For example, you claim that iBird works, so if perhaps 9 other people agree, then the max version is automatically bumped. I really hate losing feathers or add-ons when a new release comes out. It can get annoying having to manually install and bump version yourself. -
Inappropriate?PDF in songbird is also available when you have mozplugger installed on your firefox and then copy /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins to /home/usrrname/.Songbird/plugins/ restart songbird and you can do EVERYTHING that firefox can see the screenshots :
