Volume level erratic after update to Songbird 1.1.1
I just updated to Songbird 1.1.1 on Windows XP SP2, and now volume level of the tracks is erratic.
No matter what volume level I had set, each track I play has a different volume level. If I click on the volume level slider thing, it sets the volume correctly again.

Inappropriate?G'day,
1.1 adds normalisation/replay gain, so its possible some of your tracks have the information added, some don't, or some have incorrect replay gain information (it does happen).
I'd suggest to try turning it off. Tools, options, playback, uncheck "Use Audio normalisation if available".
If you are hearing it mainly in compilations that are precrossfaded and such, it may also be because the setting is set to track instead of album.
If turning it off fixes it, its simply because of dodgy replay gain information in your library (which can be fixed using a program that does replay gain calculations in bulk).
I’m hopeful.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the suggestion, Andrew. I've turned off audio normalization, but I am still having the problem.
Are there any other suggestions? This problem is really annoying. I have to reset the volume nearly every time a track changes.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Unfortunately, I am all out of ideas other then "Mr generic" which is to see what happens in safe mode, and try with another profile. :(
If these two things don't work, try posting a bug report maybe.
