NO! Unless we see a precipitous drop in active users on any platform, we will continue to support Windows XP/Vista, Linux 32- and 64-bit, and Mac OS X Intel. Again we are making this decision based on our current usage statistics and current engineering resources.

Inappropriate?It's sad to see the Mac PPC version go. Songbird was proving to be a wonderful alternative to iTunes on the platform.
If a community-supported PPC version does come forth, I'll be very happy to help pitch in to keep it going. In the meantime, keep flying forth, great Songbird!

Inappropriate?very sad... i will upgrade to 10.5 at some point, but i still have the good old g5 processor inside, so songbird is lost for me until i buy a new computer...
too bad. may the other users benefit the future versions
