Inappropriate?Double D, that is a bummer, I'm sorry. So I've poked around and it seems we don't store play count info to the database.
Did you delete your old profile? If yes, all the info you want is gone.
If you still have the old profile you can enable a preference to get your ratings data back. They aren't written to the database either but if you go to about:config you can change:songbird.metadata.ratings.enableWriting;false to true and at least get that back.
Hope that helps. -
Inappropriate?definite bummer. time for new idea...
write playcount and ratings data to database >_<
I’m bummed

Inappropriate?Play count and ratings are stored in the database, but unlike other metadata changes they are not stored in the media files on your disk. When creating a new profile, a new database is created. You may be able to rescue the database file from your old profile, but keep in mind that whatever your problem with the old profile was may have come from a corruption in that file.
So, to try a recovery, create a new profile, navigate to your old profile directory, and copy the "$oldprofiledir/db/main@songbirdnest.com.db" file in there to your new profile directory. This may introduce some subtle problems in your new profile such as files imported from media devices or web page playlists not recognizing their origin file, but should hopefully let you recover your play counts.
Good luck, and let me know how it goes. -
Inappropriate?yes i think i did that and that file also contained problems, so im just gunna deal with it i presume

Inappropriate?I'm using 1.1.2 so maybe I need to start a new thread, but I've got the SQLite Manager installed, but I'm having problems. I see that property_id 67 is property_name http://songbirdnest.com/data/1.0#play... but I can't seem to run any queries on that. Any chance I could get a look at an entity-relationship (ER) diagram of this thing?
Thanks!
