when i click a song the next one is played

I've had this problem now for a while: almost all the time when i select a song to play songbird plays the next one or doesn't play anything at all. I tried changing feathers but it doesn't help. Also songbird sometimes freezes up randomly when i select a song to play. I currently run Jaunty 64bit and have all my songs encoded in AAC
