When Songbird is opened iTunes opens.
When Songbird is opened iTunes opens. If I close iTunes, it reopens 30 seconds to a minute later. If I close Songbird and iTunes, iTunes stops opening. This problem started after updating to 1.1.1.

Inappropriate?Woah. And all that without plugging in an iPod? iTunes is probably your default music player. You could try and change your default player from iTunes to Songbird, or at least unselect iTunes from your default player. I have no clue if that'll work or not, but it's worth a shot.

Songbird is my default for all audio files. I haven't plugged in an iPod to the system since this started happening, that can be ruled out. Thanks for your help though. -
Also, I just uninstalled Songbird, then reinstalled.
Then uninstalled iTunes. Tried Songbird and everything worked fine.
Then reinstalled iTunes only to find the same problem as before, iTunes opening every 30 seconds or so after I close the previous iteration of it.
It is really strange.
