This happens even when adding identical tracks from the same source. It creates multiple entries in the library and also creates duplicate files in the media folder.

Inappropriate?had exactly the same problem...had to go through and delete heaps of tracks.

Inappropriate?Total pain. We do have some bugs filed around duplicates. For now your best bet is to manage the issue with The Exorcist.
