Where does 1.1.1 store the retained album covers?
It's not quite clear. Usually I would expect the cover to be stored in a straight forward way in the same location as the album it stands for.

Some album art files are stored in the folder from the album as .jpg, the bird shows them, iTunes shows most of them, but not all.
Some other album art seems to be directly in the mp3-code (somwhere in whatever tag), cause there are no picture what so ever in the folders, the bird shows them, iTunes shows them, the MMonkey and the Windoof Mist Player (Windows Media Player) are not showing them...

But respect to the feathered Team: Your Bird seems to be able to read most ways the album art is saved.
But can your Songbird somehow rewrite all album art, so that they are shown on other players and are in a somehow uniform way?
