where is the library information stored? alternately, how do i eliminate duplicates?
where might i locate the file that saves the layout of my library? like an xml or something that tells songbird what songs and where to display them? cuz mine got screwed up after i synced to my ipod, and now my songbird library has two or three copies of each song in the little browser, even though the actual files are only on the computer once. anyway, i was planning on just clearing that file and having it re-search for music on the computer. unless someone knows of an easier way to do this? not a major pressing issue, but if someone can tell me where to locate that file or how else to accomplish this task, i'd appreciate it.

Inappropriate?Download "The Exorcist" add-on. once you've restarted Songbird, click on the media view button just to the left of the main search bar, and select "duplicate tracks" from the drop down.
