Where is the source for the iPod Add-on?
I was trying to help with solving bugzilla #11302 (Track rating not written to iPod) by checking if #8024 (iPod ratings are wrong) is still an issue since it lays out the fix for broken ratings, but I cannot find the source.
Is the iPod add-on closed source?

Inappropriate? All addons are delivered in xpi format. An xpi is basically a zip file. Just extract the file and the source is there.

Inappropriate?Actually the iPod add-on is a closed-source addon; while the XPI is extractable, the iPod add-on uses binary components to implement device support. The majority of add-ons are open, but there are a few POTI-developed add-ons which are closed (iPod, MTP, Quicktime, and Windows Media Player being the only ones I know of) since we re-license them to our partners as a way to get revenue to support development of the rest of the open source Songbird code.
