Where is the watch folder settings?
Where is the watch folder settings? I must be blind, but I can't find them anywhere... I just upgrade to version 1.1.1, Build 1018 on my Mac. Been waiting for this feature a long time now.

Yeah, I don't see it either, Clamm.... -
Inappropriate?right, there is no preferences tab.
I have only:
File, Edit, Controls, View, Tools, Help
My install is an update to 1.1 from 1.0, if it might help.
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?@one71, on Mac preferences is under a OS X-specifik menu called Songbird. Under Linux och Windows you find preferences under the Tools-menu.
-
Hey, Pean, did you find it? I'm not sure if your question was answered somewhere else, but now I'm having the same problem.... Thanks! -

As far as i remember watch Folders has different implementations for OS X 10.5 and 10.4 Maybe thats the point...

Inappropriate?I'm using 10.4.
I cleaned out my profile, but nothing appears different. -
Inappropriate? This is frustrating! I've updated to 1.1.1 and for the life of me I can't get the watch folder to work. Above someone says use -
Tools > Options... > Media Importer > Watch Folders
But when I go to the tools menu I have no 'options' to choose.
I really really wanna love Songbird but this is blooming frustrating.......
PLEASE CAN A REALLY NICE PERSON HELP!! -
Inappropriate?BUG OPENED for watch folders not showing up under OS X 10.4

Please report if you have encountered a solution yourself... Right now it seems that all OS X Tiger Installations are affected...

Inappropriate?Sadly, OS X 10.4 doesn't support the API that we use for Watch Folders. It's
pretty unlikely that we will ever support Watch Folders on 10.4. Sorry.
I’m sad

Ok, yeah, I'm sorry too. It's not like going back to 10.4 is like going into the stone ages. My Mac is only two years old, and that's too old for Songbird to continue supporting it?
I have been wanting to stick with Songbird over the little quirks but this is getting to be too much. If you are phasing out support for 10.4 that may be the last straw for me, guys. I've just about had it. -
A little harsh maybe but I agree... -
Inappropriate?what if we 10.4 users could get at least some sort of "rebuild" option instead of watch folders? kinda like what amarok 1.4 does, to rescan the collection once in a while.
Because when i add my music folder again, I get a lot of duplicates
I’m sad
-
Good idea. -
Yes, that's something we could do. -
Has there been any progress on this? As a 10.4 user, this is the biggest issue I have with Songbird...
