Inappropriate?was the songs on your ipod synced with itunes?
it happened to me too, it just showed like 20 songs, and lots of them, is this what happened to you? i just erased all the songs on my ipod and put new ones (using songbird) and its working just alright so far.
i had the same problems with mediamonkey too, so i guess its easier for players to read data that they created themselves.

Inappropriate?Yup. Syncing your Device with different software doesn't work out all that well most of the time.
