why does songbird use gstreamer if it doesn't work in any linux distribution?
why does songbird use gstreamer, that does not work on linux for amarok and other programs either?

What version of Songbird are you trying to use?
Can you try to run this in the terminal:
export SB_GST_BUNDLED=true
<path-to-songbird>/songbird
</path-to-songbird>
