Why has playback on all audio files stopped with the upgrade from 0.6.1 to 0.7.0 (linux)?
I've recently updated my (linux) version of Songbird from 0.6.1 to 0.7.0. However, 0.7.0 won't play back any files, though 0.6.1 handled playback of all my formats (including mp3 and aac) without any isssues. I've checked my GStreamer dependencies, and am pretty sure that I have filled them all, though the "Setting Up GStreamer" page no longer exists.
What have I done wrong?

Inappropriate? What steps did you perform for upgrading Songbird?

Inappropriate? Our GStreamer Setup page still exists, though its at a different URL than it once was:

Not sure which Linux distribution you are running, but hopefully your distro is covered there. Let us know if the info helps. -
Inappropriate? Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the GStreamer setup page. I do have all of those packages installed, so that's not the issue.
To upgrade, I downloaded the gzipped tarball and extracted it in my /home directory after rm -rf the old /home/songbird directory. On startup, a dialogue box let me know that it was upgrading my library from the old version to the new.
Thanks for the help so far!
I’m slightly less confused.
