Why songbird window isn't like the OS window theme?
I really like Songbird and I'm using it in both of my computers but there is something which annoys me a lot: its window doesn't respect the OS theme.
So my question is why?

Inappropriate?G'day,
Its due to the fact that Songbird allows theming, and to be extended to look different (same as Winamp). There were native feathers/themes in the past to make it integrate it with the native themes, and no doubt, there will be more in the future again too. Its only a matter of time until someone creates one compatible with new versions of songbird (the old ones I don't think are maintained any longer unfortunately). -
Inappropriate? Thanks for your answer. In my opinion, Songbird should by default respect the native theme (like Firefox do), and we could add feathers if we want to change the theme.
There is indeed a old feather that take the native theme ("System"), but I think it need a little update (atreiu if you read this post...) -
Inappropriate?Problem is, on OS's like Ubuntu, what is the native theme? GTK, QT, the Openstep one? I agree I would want to see some elements of the official system used more (like the windows border), but to be honest, it doesn't really matter to me.
I think the reason why iTunes, WMP and many other media players don't, is because as a system theme, it would probably look really ugly.
But who knows?
