Why won't Songbird import my entire iTunes library?
Songbird won't download my entire iTunes library. I have approximately 1,400 items in my library, and Songbird only imported about 1,100 of them.
I tried importing it again, but it was the same result. What do I need to do?

Inappropriate? It could only happen if you move 300 tracks to the different location or deleted.
When you add files to iTunes, it creates iTunes Music Library.xml file
When you're trying to import your itunes library to Songbird, it reads this .xml file, which basically stores your files locations.
If some files are moved or deleted, it won't be able to find and add them to the library.
In that case, it should give a warning message:...something like ..."300 out of 1400 tracks can not be located and added to the library...."
Did you get any message upon importing?
You will need to add those 1400 files to iTunes again(it will update .xml file) and then re-import iTunes library to Songbird again. -
Ugh. Is there a way to do this all at once in iTunes, or do I literally have to go to each artist > album > song? -
Inappropriate? Can you just delete the Songbird version of the ITunes Music library XML and try again somehow? Where is that located?
Also, I don't think Boris' answer is 100% correct because I can still listen to the files in iTunes, so they exist, but the Songbird importing failed partway through.
I’m frustrated
